About Us

The Peach Pie Project sprang from a desire to raise money for Equality Utah. In 2016 there were a number of news reports about a large number of gay homeless teens lacking basic needs (clothing, blankets, sleeping bags). We came up with a plan to ask our friends on Facebook to donate to Equality Utah and if they did, we would deliver to them a freshly made peach cream pie. We raised $500 dollars and made and delivered 18 pies.

Since then we have raised $12,272 for various organizations.
